A modern clean apartment in a noisy neighborhood. Well equipped but only with manuals in Spanish... Five minutes walking to the beach is great! We didn't realize before, but during our stay in Barceloneta the locals made us clear that tourism destroys the socio-cultural community in this (poor) district of the city. Many locals were forced to move out under pressure of apartment owners and speculators for the benefit of tourists. This gave us a very unwelcome feeling.

Nice place, however, the TV never worked and maybe you can leave a map of the important places around the neighborhood of the apartment, for newcomers, it is very handy, for example, stores, merto, etc!!! for the rest comfortable and just 5 min from the beach!!! awesome, there is a good bakery and market around the corner, and a nice cafe that serves the best mojito.

The apartment was very nice and clean and well equipped. It was very close to the beach and the marketplace. From the marketplace you were able to buy warm bread and fresh fruits for breakfast. Only down side was the stairs that are quite narrow and steep but to young people like us it was not a problem.
